Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What kind of photography do you do?
We are primarily natural light photographers though we can shoot indoors if needed. We love shooting outdoors, especially during the “magic hour”, that last hour before sunset.
And in Oklahoma, we have lots of outdoors to pick from!
How long is my session?
A typical session is 90 minutes. If we go over 90 minutes, that’s okay. We care more about capturing the moment than watching a clock.
How many images will I see?
We don’t have a minimum or maximum number of images for our sessions. The important thing to remember is more isn’t always better. In fact, it frequently leads to paralysis and indecision. While we shoot hundreds of frames, for a typical family portrait session you can expect to see about 30 images. This represents the best of what we shot and it provides choices without overwhelming you.
Do you watermark my images?
No, we don’t use watermarks because they get in the way of enjoying your images.
Can I post the images online?
Absolutely! We give you digital copies optimized for use online and on your devices. When you post the images online, please include “© Quiet Creek Photography” and a link to our website (https://quietcreekphotography.com).
How do I place an order?
We’ll review the images with you, you pick the ones you can’t live without, and we’ll place the order.
When will I get my images and artwork?
After your session, we’ll make an ordering appointment, usually in three weeks or less depending on the season. Delivery of artwork depends on the workload at the print house(s).
How is my artwork shipped?
Standard shipping is included with every print order. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. Call us for details and prices. Digital images are delivered via email or Dropbox.
